Lose two inches off your thighs with squats.
This is a great exercise for toning your thighs and after a couple of weeks you will be able to feel and measure the difference.
I like this exercise because you do not need any special equipment and you do not even need to change into gym gear if you do not want to or do not have the time.
All you need to do to perform a squat is stand upright, with your legs about two feet apart, then bend at the knees then bring your upper body down (keeping it straight).
You will still be in a standing position, then push your body up using your leg muscles, till you are standing straight again.
Then just repeat this as many times as you can comfortably.
The number of squats you can do in a session will depend on your age, weight and fitness, so it is very difficult to suggest doing 10,20 or any number, it will all depend on you and how you feel.
One thing is for sure, if you can do one squat comfortably, you will be able to build on this and gradually increase the number you do, and you will increase the strength of your thighs and tone them, helping to lose inches off of them.
You will feel your thigh muscles working quite hard with this exercise, which is good as these are the muscles you will improve.
Once you have completed this exercise for a couple of weeks you will find that you can walk, run and cycle a lot easier, so you not only lose inches off your thighs you also increase the strength in your legs and you can help improve your overall fitness.
